Marine Corps Cpl. Adam S. Hanna, son of Annais Hansen of Cape Coral, alongside 800 fellow Marines attached to the 3rd Battalion 25th Marines(3/25), stationed in Moundsville, W.Va., recently deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
The 3rd Battalion is a reserve infantry unit whose mission is to repel the enemy assault by fire and close combat. The battalion's missions is to remain combat ready in the case of a national emergency when they are not deployed.
