Cape Christian Fellowship

Join us this weekend as Pastor Dennis Gingerich continues our "FLIP series with "What They Can't Taike Away." Why generosity and gratitude unlock the door to a blessed life.

Attend one of three contemporary worship gatherings available for convenience: Saturday 5 p.m. and Sunday at 9 or 11 a.m. There are classes for children and youth and a nursery provided during all worship gatherings.

The EDGE High School gathering is held on Wednesday, 7-8:30 p.m.

Divorce Care meets every Tuesday through Nov. 24, in the Multi-Purpose Room (located by the circular drive-way).

DayBreak Fellowship

Seventh Annual Harvest Festival hosted by DayBreak Fellowship will take place Saturday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. There will be pony rides and hayrides, live music, two bounce houses, game booths, hot dogs, chips and drinks, and plenty of candy. Event is free. The youth will hold a fundraising bake sale and raffle with prizes from local retailers and attractions. Location is DayBreak's future building site at 2327 S.W. Trafalgar Parkway (at the entrance to the Cape Coral Sports Complex).

Evangelical Presbyterian Church

Women of the Word 2009 fall study offered Tuesdays, 9-11 a.m. or 7-9 p.m. at Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 701 Mohawk Parkway. Now through Nov. 17, 9-11 a.m. or 7-9 p.m. a study on the books of Ruth and Esther.

First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church of Cape Coral will continue free classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Classes will include computer skills for beginners, basic digital photography, cult proofing your family and friends, live debt free and prosper, how to make your children mind without losing your mind and what about the dinosaurs? Pre-registration is required. Call 542-3703 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon on Friday. Seating is limited.

First Baptist Church of Cape Coral is offering several community outreach meetings each week. All meetings are open to the public and are held on the First Baptist Church campus at 4117 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral. Included weekly are the following:

First Congregational Church located at 312 Santa Barbara Blvd., will hold a rummage sale Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 24, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Household items, small furniture, clothing, books, toys, electronics and lots of other items.

Christian Center

Randy Estelle Concert: Randy Estelle, international concert pianist and vocalist, will be appearing in concert at King's Way Christian Center in Cape Coral on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 10 a.m. His credits include eleven solo recordings, over 120 personal appearances yearly, producer honors on numerous CD projects for other artists, and an extensive background in praise and worship ministry. With prestigious credentials in classical performance, he is also considered one of Christian music?s premiere innovators in the areas of jazz, blues, and other eclectic styles.

King's Way Christian Center will be hosting a Big Top Celebration, a Halloween alternative on Oct. 31, from 6-8:30 p.m. Free games, candy, and door prizes for kids and adults. Free admission.

New Song Ministries

New Song Ministries, a Contemporary Christian music-focused ministry that serves the teen and young adult demographic, meets on Saturday nights at 7 p.m. at 1490 N.E. Pine Island Road, 7B (the Kehilat Aish Kodesh location) in Cape Coral. All youth and young adults are invited for a night of contemporary Christian praise music.

New Song Ministries is led by local resident and musician-music instructor Mitch Fincel, whose band Bloodwashed is based in Lee County, backed by teen praise band Kismet, whose members are all Cape Coral teens.

The Turning Point Church which meets on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. in the Wm. Covenant Presbyterian Church

Covenant Presbyterian Church is located on historic McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers.

Mary Mozelle will coordinate the annual Covenant Concert Series, which is entering its 29th season. The opening concert of the 2009-2010 series will feature Mozelle on the organ performing classic works by Bach and Widor among many favorites. The public is invited to the free concert, which will be held in the church sanctuary at 2439 McGregor Blvd., at 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 25. A freewill offering will be taken.
