Police seek to ID body found Christmas Day

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a man whose body was found in Choctawhatchee Bay on Christmas Day.

Fort Walton Beach police said Monday that the man was about 6 feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He had a manicured chin strap beard.

The Northwest Florida Daily News (http://bit.ly/18VBJTe ) reports the man was wearing a black t-shirt with the words "Marines/Semper Fi" and "USMC."

The man was found early on Christmas afternoon. Police say a cause of death hasn't been determined.
