For the life of me and after careful study of your preaching, innuendo, opinion, and what I think of others peoples opinions written below Mr Wollschdts. ..there is still -NO- simple straightforward question to me in all of it? Now if The Mad Chihuahua can muster the courage to ask a- simple straightforward question- which seems impossible again Ill be glad to answer directly. Try again.. Stop acting like a 5 year old.. Nothing long winded, not your "superior" "opinion" just a simple question that can be answered directly. I'll ck back later as I'm sure you'll be lurking here. Isn't it time to stop being a cowardly gas bag Mr Wollschdts... You STILL can't even muster a straightforward question after all that bad gas u spew?? Pathetic.lolololololololololololololol

DOAkolov, I should thank u for directly responding to the latest research I posted on ice melting twice as fast as previous research predicted. They were being conservative.

Where did your report come from, or did you see it on Fox?

Tell me if my memory is failing me, but I recall you said ice in East Antarctica was growing and cited it as evidence there was no shrinking.

U just rely on Fox and don’t search the excerpt of the article I posted….and dwell in the land of ignorance.

Out of kindness though, I will leave u with one pertinent line from the article, “East Antarctica just isn’t in the ball game when it comes to counterbalancing West Antarctica.”

Now IF you can stop preaching, posing roundabout irrational faux "questions"...then, cowardly, answering for me...as always.. That's just silly. On the other hand if you could actually man up (never)and ask a straight forward question that is somewhat rational..without associated preaching and answering for me...Pls do. Poor Comrade Corpolov..Better relocate the shack further up the hill? Guess this one didn't get the memo that at one time North America was covered by an ice sheet? Yes even the rickety Tn. hill shack.. and has been melting and receding ever since(except where it's increasing esp. in the South Pole..shhh a secret..don't want to make P.T.Gore duped "liberals" cry) Now Comrade before u start a-movin uphill and callin P.T. The last 25 years, melting Antarctic ice has added nearly 3 trillion tons of water to the ocean, enough to fill Lake Erie six times per a study published Wednesday in the journal Nature, which used more satellite data than any other investigation of Antarctica. The researchers show a sharp uptick in Antarctica’s contribution to sea level rise over the last decade. It comes from West Antarctica, where the rate of ice melting tripled over the past quarter century from 58 billion to 175 billion tons per year. Less substantial losses occurred in the Antarctic Peninsula, while East Antarctica remained mostly unchanged. Previous studies reached different conclusions over whether the Antarctic ice sheet was shrinking or growing. The new study shows that Antarctic ice is melting twice as fast as what was found in a 2012 report. A team of 83 international scientists amassed more satellite data on Antarctica than all of the 150 assessments conducted on the southern continent since 1989.

Here it is deniers.

It focused on West Antarctica, East Antarctica and the Antarctic Peninsula. West Antarctic ice forms on the seabed is affected by ocean temperatures, while the East Antarctic ice sheet, which sits on land, is primarily affected by air temperatures and more likely to increase due to snowfall. The latter fed the idea that while West Antarctica might melt away in the future, East Antarctica’s ice accumulation could make up the difference — an argument that is sometimes used by climate change deniers. This study proves that isn’t true, said geoscientist Michael Oppenheimer, a lead author of the last UN IPCC report. It dispels the idea that E. Antarctica has been gaining enough ice from snowfall to cancel losses in West Antarctic. E Antarctica just isn’t in the ball game when it comes to counterbalancing West Antarctica.

" For the past 40 years, the share of wealth owned by the wealthiest families in the U.S. has increased, according to French economist Thomas Piketty. New research from the St. Louis Fed’s Center for Household Financial Stability shows that this trend has picked up speed over the past few years ".

Thank God we all live here where everyone has unlimited opportunity. The key Wild-eye Wooly is to not resent the successful because life's brass ring obviously passed you by..Its not our fault. Wrong with being successful?? Nope..and not sorry about it as years of 18 hour days, employing hundreds over the years, with trust, education, training, good pay and great benefits makes me sleep soundly on a cash stuffed mattress knowing I contributed way more than most in life putting food on hundreds of families tables..for decades. Seafood, On other occasions, you have claimed to be “rich”. . That could superficially explain your favoring GoP-Con policies. . However, since only few others of us are “rich”, how do you explain what to me is the bewildering favor of many NOT-”rich” people for the GoP-Con -- For Life under Conservatude ? ? ?

Do these folk somehow enjoy the spectale of what wealth they now possess being steadily FURTHER purloined into the hands of the 0.1-% Oligarchy ? ?

You must know the (or at least an) answer, since by any reasonable measure, you may be “rich”, but you still stand on much the same economic and social turf as the rest of us when a meaningful comparison is made against the circumstances of the 0.1-%.

Help us understand you better : What on Earth can your motivation be ? ? ? . Please tell us ! ! !

Reporters crowded into a Singapore auditorium Tuesday, expecting President Trump to walk out and announce the results of his historic meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Suddenly, two huge screens on either side of the empty podium came to life. Soaring music boomed over the speakers, and the reporters were bombarded with a montage portraying North Korea as some sort of paradise. Golden sunrises, gleaming skylines and high-speed trains. Children skipping through Kim Il Sung square in Pyongyang. North Korean flags fluttering between images of Egyptian pyramids, the Taj Mahal and the Lincoln Memorial.

Kim Jong Un waved to an adoring crowd while President Trump stood beside him with his thumb in the air. The film went on like this for more than four minutes. Some journalists, unable to understand the Korean-language narration, assumed they were watching one of Pyongyang’s infamous propaganda films. “What country are we in?” asked a reporter from the filing center.

And then Trump walked onto the stage and confirmed what some had already realized. The film was not North Korean propaganda. It had been made in America, by or on the orders of his White House, for the benefit of Kim. “I hope you liked it,” Trump told the reporters. “I thought it was good. I thought it was interesting enough to show. ... And I think he loved it.” The crowd sounded skeptical. Some wondered if Trump had not, in fact, just provided U.S.-sanctioned propaganda to one of the country’s oldest adversaries.

How can anyone say we got anything from the Kim Jon Un and Trump meeting than a return to normal dialog? Visiting "dignitaries" have achieved as much without elevating the status of murderous despot.

We gave a lot for that. That is a return to the same agreements we had in 1992, which were violated by N. Korea.

The art of the deal conferred on the N. Korean brutal the status of world leader like Pakistan or Russia.

It is good that the US and N. Korea are no longer threatening to incinerate each other's country.

"WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump announced a halt to joint military exercises with South Korea on Tuesday, raising alarm at the Pentagon, in Congress and among allies that the U.S. might back away from longstanding defense commitments in the region without concrete concessions from long-belligerent North Korea. Trump unveiled the move at a news conference with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un after their summit in Singapore. He said he also wants to eventually withdraw the 28,500 U.S. troops permanently stationed in the South as a deterrent against North Korea, which until just months ago was threatening Seoul and Washington with nuclear war."

“It sure looks as if President Trump was hoodwinked in Singapore.

Trump made a huge concession — the suspension of military exercises with South Korea. That’s on top of the broader concession of the summit meeting itself, security guarantees he gave North Korea and the legitimacy that the summit provides his counterpart, Kim Jong-un.

Within North Korea, the “very special bond” that Trump claimed to have formed with Kim will be portrayed this way: Kim forced the American president, through his nuclear and missile tests, to accept North Korea as a nuclear equal, to provide security guarantees to North Korea, and to cancel war games with South Korea that the North has protested for decades.

In exchange for these concessions, Trump seems to have won astonishingly little. In a joint statement, Kim merely “reaffirmed” the same commitment to denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula that North Korea has repeatedly made since 1992.”
