Even as we watch this City Manager and his Mayor and Council SPEND, SPEND, SPEND, the CM refuses to drop the millage rate! Why?? Well I would suggest he NEEDS more money to spend. They have a DIFFICULT time running the existing city now and they want to take over LCEC...Like your water bill?? You are going to love your electric bill....Thanks John and Co.

throw all incumbents out. Remember the fire assessment that isn't used for fire department it's fun money for the city. And the recent waste of $140K on the irrigation water debacle. total waste of money they are not capable to make a informed decision. THROW THEM OUT THROW THEM ALL OUT.

reyemm - Let's not forget, it's a vetting process. We can only choose from the individuals which have stepped forward to serve. Plenty of time for that!

I watched numerous candidates for council seats at a forum in June and have the following comment..I was disappointed in the lack of focus on basic issues of city government by the candidates. Had this been a primary interview for a management position, I don't think more than 20% would be called back for a second interview. I hope that they all mature through the candidate process to understand the basics of the positions they are running for. If they don't, the city deserves what it elects. JMHO
