Lee County Schools: More waste?

To the editor: The trouble in Lee County Schools is they never try to save money and this always leads to trouble. They have to hire tutors for students. That didn’t work out well....

Isn't it required by state law to have segregated Lee county schools. This was fought over in the ninety's when the neighborhhood schools were functioning in a positive way. Dr Adams was so adamant in changing the school system,at that time..promising that it would work out. however, it has failed miserably. It really is time for the board members to re-visit the neighborhood school system and fix what was broken years ago...the population decrease has made the vision that ADAMS believed in a thing of the past.. plain n simple

I agree Electrician, One good start should be kids going to the closest school near home, cut down on bussing, just make all schools as they are meant to be, basic education.

It is painfully obvious in reading your diatribe that the public resources expended on your education 60 years ago failed to produce a positive return on the investment.
