Administrative fees for your car registration and drivers license are charged by the State, not the City of Cape Coral. Both issuing agencies are actually state agencies.

Oops, need to make a correction. The county is the one with the administrative charges. At least that's where the check is made out to for the registration. I forget how the check is made out for the drivers license. I do know for sure neither one is the City of Cape Coral.

Thank you Mr. Mattachione for your service to our country, the land of the free. However, the land of the free doesn’t always include exemption for every paid service this country, county or city offers its citizens in general. I assume you entered the military of your own volition knowing the perils. By doing so you agreed to the compensation and other rewards the government was willing to provide for your military service. As a war veteran myself, I cringe each time I hear a fellow veteran say what happened to me was not fair and I want the government to pay more for what happened to me. As a citizen, you are entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and this includes, regardless of your situation, paying for the privileges and services that make this country great for everyone.

I am always suspicious of people who brag in bold letters about being handicapped. IF I have the right Jack, you rent your home according to LEEPA, and Google says you are a counselor in Ft. Myers, but I could not find a license on file for you with the state. I can see by your FB profile that you are not too disabled (or too poor) to travel to Brazil, Greece, and Bogata and that your ‘current city’ is in Belize. Life is tough. Cape Coral is welcoming to vets and we don’t need to prove it. As annoying as Shannon’s demand for a free ride was, your pandering, groveling and begging is more so.

CapeCoralCuestions: I reread his letter. Where in the heck are the bold letters you claim he used? The rest of your post is ridiculous also. You seem to have the mindset, that if it is on the internet, then it is true. That couldn't be farther from the truth. Much of what is on the internet has been proven to be false in the past. I seriously doubt that that has changed.
