BURCH FAILED THE RESIDENTS AS A COUNCILMAN AND APPOINTED MAYOR BEFORE. WHY WOULD THOSE VOTERS AND NEW VOTERS WANT TO GIVE HIM A SEAT ON THE CITY COUNCIL AGAIN?

WOULD YOU BRING BACK ERIC GRILL, MICKEY ROSADO. YOU SAID NO TO A.J.BOYD!

Animal Control. It was looked into. Cost was about $900,000 for Lee County's service.

The city had no extra money and between land, building, staff wages/benefits including more PENSIONS the cost would have been in the millions to get it off the ground. Now figure in the vehicles, maintenance, feeding of animals, insurance etc. ,etc. etc. The billion dollars the city is indebted for with the more than $33 million in debt service (interest) would have pushed us over the billion dollar mark much earlier. When it was looked into about 4 years ago we were at $850 million in debt!

permits or the building were not in order and the financing had not been worked out?

For those who want to verify the consultant part of this it was published in Water World and engineering magazine on water, sewer and reclamation for engineers and municipal utilities. Now take a look at who voted for this. Oh I neglected to list Alex LaPera as a council person on that council in the 2007 period. It also was pointed out in that article that home permits had fallen off dramatically! READ IT!

Bio solids equipment purchased for $15 million. Not used! Stored on empty lot north of Pine Island Rd. Out of sight out of mind, out of money!

Here is a look at the players that were in government to vote on the spending of $15 million dollars. Keep in mind that in 2007 the meltdown was well under way when the equipment was purchased in april 2007.

Mayor Eric Feichthaler Councilors Delores Bertolini JIM BURCH Dr. Derrick Donnell EricC Grill Tim Day Tom Hair Richard Stevens Peter Brandt City Manager Terry Stewart

Take a good look who is running again. See who comes to council meeting to admonish especially any of the FAB 5 that pushed for transparency and ACCOUNTABILITY...Delores Bertolini. This group kept consultants on retainer to cost the city millions for a system that Mr. Pearson who was hired by the FAB 5 showed them the system was costly to run. Biggest question who buys equi

Shannon, what can Williams do that McGrail hasn't already done during his term as Dist.6 Councilman ..Nothing at All because McGrail has been an excellent Leader for his District and Community. If Williams had shown more self-reliance and not rode the Incumbents Leetz and Sullivan shirttails,he may have had more support from the voters, than that of the funky stale RAGS.

Hey Packer you can not hand off the $25 million of equipment bought for a bio solids operation that was never passed by even the council before the so called Road Ahead Gang (as you refer to them).

$25 million of equipment that sat out on a lot in NW Cape Coral and can not even be sold on Gov**** for 10 cent of the dollar. A $46 million project. Who buy the appliances, takes delivery, pays for appliances on a CONSIDERED home to be built? Same thing Mismanaged funds, misspent tax dollars. And this is only one of the wonderful things that happened when Delores Bertolini was on council. $25 million dollars to sit on a lot and RUST! LET"S RAISE TAXES AND END RUN the states 10 point millage cap!

@ Rosko: yeah, let’s ‘balance’ the dais and watch the tug-o-war that will take place! Four ayes four nays, the motion does not pass.” It will stall this City for TWO years. But of course that would float the RAGs’ boat. Then you’ll have FOUR on and just need to sneak someone into the election and hope nobody realizes they are a RAG plant. Brilliant!

Jim, I will indeed vote my pocketbook. The RAGS you hitched up with did nothing! Now we have to pay for ignoring problems. I can't imagine what it would cost if we let the insanity continue.

Lynn: Do you have your comment saved so that all you have to do is paste it? You're like a broken record. I'm actually thinking of using it during meditation after they lose on November 5 to remind myself that our City is finally in safe hands.

Hell, yeah! Vote your pocketbook. Never mind that this is the new Lie by RAGs! Get rid of all those new taxes and let these old, cranky 70+ jokers fix it so you and you kids lose: parks, sports fields, SunSplash, Coral Oaks Golf Course, Seahawk Park, all boat ramps, the yacht Club, the senior centers. the youth center but hey-----that $60 a year in Public Service Tax (electric) and the Fire Fee at $100 to $150 will save you enough money to make sure your kids don't have to attend after school and vacation kid-watching at the school and parks! Sure sounds good to me! Course, I got no kids in schools and don't give a*****about the parks!

@Shannon: you are a frequent flyer in the Letters to the Editor. Unfortunately for Cape Coral, you spew the same lies and misinformation that the Road Ahead Gang and Mag8 have been hoping the citizens would be stupid enough to believe for the last 4 years. McGrail has been honest, transparent, and dedicated to NW Cape. Williams is a sham put up by RAGs as a spoiler. He can’t even realize that cutting the PST and the Fire Service Fee will decimate the district he supposedly cares about. Leest? “ I have a gun and know how to use it; I know how to provoke people and get away with it!” Stable? Claims damage to his house car and dogs but: If there is no police report—it didn’t happen! Headd didn’t know what a TIF was and said so at the Civic Survivors Night. He obviously doesn’t realize that WE DO NOT OWN THE former GOLF CLUB and thus have to right to sell it, change it, or do anything else with it!
