jcmckay, that prior council did their due diligence and sent the group from Texas packing. It was over for them in Cape Coral.

It took Lee County a couple of months to come to the same conclusion and then the county sent them packing.

Finally the court found they were a fraud and the leaders there are doing prison time.

Isn't that correct Mrs. Bertolini and company?

The only thing being asked regarding the swim center was to continue with the due diligence process. It was not to vote on whether they should move forward with the swim center, as that would not come until after the due diligence was completed.

Dim Bulb...Your bulb is really out of whack. Linda and Ed Prince do more for this City than many others. I am sure the people of West Virginia would be thrilled to have you move there. You could show them how to live and make things better. The Swim Center was four years ago and the new Council was left with the MOU, Memorandum of Understanding which they used to vett the company. Nothing more nothing less. Stick to the present. Do you want a dozen roses for your accomplishments, what color.

Linda Jo Prince wanted the RAG Council to partner up with a group from Texas who wanted to build a Aqua Swim Center/Tennis Courts/mueseum. AT any cost in 2011 for jobs at any cost. Her son an ELECTRICIAN needed a job!

When vetted by mayor Sullivan & the council made of mostlty Road Ahead Gang members the group was vetted. Results 2 dead board of directors on the group, they wanted 2 commercials pieces of land to use as collateral for the $10 million they said they had but did not.

Linda Jo Prince is supported by hubby Ed Prince city of Cape Coral City Worker. So that is why you will hear her at council meetings throwing rose petals that can give Ed greater pay and benefits. "AT AY COST" She tells council as often as possible how things in W. Virgina are so great and they are just doing great. W. Virginia as a state is the 4th poorest state in the U.S. Except for the city, state & city workers. As a city we know the residents here in Cape Coral are below State of Fl

Thank God! Finally a post by a rational, informed, commited citizen of Cape Coral here long enough to know the truth and where the bones are buried. Chris Leetz lied when he claimed he was being harassed; where are the police reports? Yet he bragged that he had a gun, knew how to use it and also that he knew how to provoke people and get away with it! Who wants that unstable piece of scum representing Cape? The say NO to everything and do nothing in 4 years is Leest and Sully's gift to the Cape. They have accomplished not one thing on their own! But that doesn't stop them for taking credit for other people's efforts and labor. and to David Headd--"what is this WE skit kemosabee?" You have done nothing and can't even realize that the investigations you ask for happened over a year ago! duh . . .
