Mr Kalfaus, while I concur that Sheriff Scott is head and shoulders above many in his profession, you leave me perplexed. You constantly wax poetic about keeping costs down here in the Cape by cutting employees and budgets, yet you openly push for and increase in the Sheriff's budget in your LTE. Your views on governmental expeditures are wholly inconsistent to say the least. Or is it you just have an axe to grind here in the Cape?

Logic nor consistency are mentioned in the Ten Commandments. That's probably why Mr. Kalfus has neither of these traits.

Respect? Respect? The brownshirt Uncle Fester look-a-like doesn't even have the respect of his own department. The majority despise him and he knows it. The only reason he is putting in for a pay raise for them is because he knows there will be a wholesale flock to the union if there isn't.

When the sheriff decided he didn't need to answer questions from our daily newspapers reporters I chose not to bow to this public servant but to vote him out. The Deputies I know have no respect for him but still need to feed their families so they continue to uphold their oath. Term limits should be on every political office in the nation.

An endorsement by Kalfus is the death-knell of any campaign for any office anywhere! He is a religious buffoon.

Funny netransplant and I do agree to block the media from reporting what is happening in government is poor government.

Netransplant is not consistent though. He has no problem with certain council and the current city manager in Cape Coral, Fl. from having the same philosophy with the media. McGrail, Erbrick and Szerlag in particular don't want issues taken up in the media. McClain and Donnell have had their own personal issues with the media.
