Impact fee moratorium proposed

I agree that the impact fees need to remain in place. Many of Florida's counties who jumped on this band wagon in the past year have replaced those fees. It might be interesting to see if a new group of developers have interest in Lee County. Why should the taxpayers even consider giving up another $10 million to run this county?

The fee's need to stay, growth needs to pay for itself. People the only one's that would save would be the builders! They will not lower their price to the end user,they are just trying to make more money. Manning was backed by the industry! When is enough enough, goverment needs to stay out of business!

This should have been done when the economy went bad. Now things are turning around and Manning wants to give breaks to builders? Try looking at resales. That will give a better indication of what is going on with our economy here in SW Florida. We really don't need new construction of homes with all of the inventory that is out there for sale.
