Same old tap danceFebruary 2, 2013What an interesting evening at Trey Radel’s “Listening Tour” on the Edison State College Campus. I’m finding myself completely bothered by some, no, most of what Trey had to say.... Showing 16 of 16 comments

The letter wasn't sent anonymous, so it shouldn't have been published that way.

I guess you could say "you get what you vote for". Trey Radel didn't get my vote because I truly believed he was a Tea Bagging &^%$tard.....your experience at his listening tour proves I was right.

Nor is there a signature at 4:20. My suggestion? If he has the nerve to run again, send him back to Faux News where he can stumble through reading the "news" again. He's certainly not qualified for this job, but, hey this is what happens when folks vote against someone (the President) because they thought the electing Tea Party Ravin' Radel was going to help the TP people run things. How's that working out for you?

At 7:40 AM - It's posted as you'll see below, "The letter wasn't sent anonymous, so it shouldn't have been published that way." I also at that time signed my name... I wrote this letter.
The printed edition has my name.

April,
Thanks for the info. I guess Val is too busy with Super Bowl plans to actually tend to her paper...sad

April,
I too think that Trey Radel is an incredible lightweight, and a total embarrassment to SWFL. In my times meeting him, he had trouble telling the time of day. He did, however, have no trouble spewing sputum over the microphone. Did anyone tell him to back up a bit, and not treat guests like morons?

Ray,
Unfortunately, No. Not while I was there.
It was a strange event on so many levels... It seemed there was a selective screening process happening to move away from unhappy constituents.
And being located at Edison State College yet giving NO building number on the invitation. There were several constituents walking the campus with no direction.
The room was not large enough to accommodate attendees. Most of whom were late, because they couldn't find the event and then forced to stand in hallways or where they could.

According to Gallup, only 38% of Americans want stricter gun laws. You are in the minority and your post suggests you are in the majority? Most Americans support current laws or want gun laws loosened.

Trey's talking points were prepared by Sarah Palin.

You may not like him but he won by a landslide. Once again, minority thinkers believing they are somehow the voice of the majority?

Time will tell if the TeaParty chose the right person for the job.How long will it take for Radel to understand he works for all of the citizens in Lee County, not only Cape Coral? his idea of no such thing as an Assault weapon,is so out of touch with reality.Maybe he should take a trip to NewPoint and ask the grieving families that lost their children and loved ones to such a weapon.yes, We the People voted him in office and We the People can vote him gone!thanks for the informative letter Ms. Freeman
