good grief only a christian nation practices "tolerence" enough to allow freedom to worship as one pleases. it is not christianity that is intolerent but the seculars and secular nations which are intolerent. If you dont believe it go to saudi arabia and be an athiest, buddist, hinduist or christian. they will show you what intolerence is.

A code of ethics would settle this bantering back and forth. One thing is for sure we know their are definitely foxes in the hen house and even a civil code of ethics will not stop unscrupulous actions by the people most would want to "do the right thing."

Agree, Kirsten! But let's help poor benighted Mr. Russell understand. The United States is, always has been and always will be a secular nation which allows all of its citizens to worship (or not) in whatever manner they choose without interference from their secular government.
If we were, as Mr. Russell tries to argue, a "Christian-Judeo" nation, I guess we'd have a Pope-in-Chief or a Ruling Rabbi instead of a president, wouldn't we?

Well aren't we nice to "allow" other religions to practice their beliefs in OUR nation.
